Eric Jacobsen Commission Painting For New Library

Eric's painting of the Gorge hanging in its new home in the fireplace area.

Eric with his painting after it was installed.

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library recently commissioned Eric Jacobsen to do a painting of the Columbia Gorge for the new Cascade Park Library. Eric and myself delivered the painting on Tuesday morning the day of the grand opening and it was installed in its new home over the fireplace. The painting which is from a view from the hills above White Salmon, Washington looking west, is a gorgeous addition to this spectacular new library. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by to see Vancouver's newest beautiful library and make sure to look for Eric's incredible painting as the pictures I took don't do it justice.

The painting is beautiful. It is lit in a way that makes it glow from across the new, spectacular library. Attendees at the grand opening of the library loved it.
