Art in the Heart
Downtown Vancouver's Annual Festival of the Arts
We are scheduled to have 17 artists here at the gallery set up outside along our sidewalks and a few inside the courtyard. Artists will be selling their work at special one weekend only festival pricing. Many of our painters will have unframed pieces, or work that they don’t normally show in the gallery, along with framed work. It’s a great time to pick up some wonderful art at a great price! We have a wide variety of mediums that will be on display: Watercolor paintings, oil paintings, pastel paintings, acrylic paintings, gouache paintings, pottery, jewelry, turned wood bowls and recycled glass art to name a few. The event runs from 5-9 pm on First Friday August 5th and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday August 6th.
Artists scheduled to be here are: Rebecca Anstine, Celeste Bergin, Bud Fields, Marilyn Hocking, Robin Hominiuk, Michael Lindstrom, Ruth Mabrey, Denise McFadden, Juliet Moran, Luba Nenchev, Mike Rangner, Cirith Anderson-Sebree, Jan Taylor-Taskey, Della Terra, Scott Trumbo, Oleg Ulitskiy and Gene Wigglesworth.
